EUROPEAN BUDO ASSOCIATION

European Budo Association

The European Budo Association was founded in 2009 in Warsaw (Poland), but the area of activity sometimes exceeds the borders of Europe. The Association cooperates with both global organizations and groups and clubs operating locally.

The Association may create, belong to and participate in the work of Polish and international organizations and associations of physical culture, in particular sports and martial arts.

The aim of the Association is:

  1. Studying martial arts budo,
  2. Learning and promoting the culture and philosophy of the Far East, in particular Japan,
  3. Improving the physical fitness of society, in particular children and youth, promoting and supporting sports talents among them,
  4. Organizing and conducting activities in the field of psychical rehabilitation,
  5. Educating young people in the idea of understanding and tolerance for all people regardless of their origin, nationality and beliefs,
  6. Popularization of martial arts, organization of sports competitions and cooperation in this area with other sports associations,
  7. Promotion of hygienic, sporty lifestyle.

  • International Champions Tournament „Champions Cup” – competitions in many martial arts and fighting sports
  • Karate Tournament „Warsaw Open”
  • Open Polish Spochan Championships (Sport Chanbara)
  • Winter Samurai Camp, Winter Karate Academy
  • Summer Karate Academy, Kobudo Summer Academy, Samurai Summer Gasshuku
  • Battodo and Tameshigiri Tai Kai
  • International Seminars with Budo Masters
